I know; I just gave an example of how immediately after in the same comment lol.

If the files are exact copies, then MD5 checks will catch them; tweaking so many files just to bypass this could prove to be too tedious of a process for people to bother exploiting it.
However, people could create scripts for others to mass-download, -edit, and -upload their files accordingly to reduce this tedium.
The monsters.
Well, that originally autocorrected to "mobsters," but I suppose that'd work in a certain context, too.
To be fair, based on observations after these years, it doesn't appear that waiting longer before release would have significantly improved Autocomplete Idiocy in any way.
I don’t really understand what we hope to get from all of this.
Well, even among the most moral devs, the garbage output wasn't intended, and no one could have predicted the pace at which it's been developing. So all this is driving a real need for in-person communities and regular contact—which is at least one great result, I think.
So... it's becoming truer, then?
They probably knew, but the truth is just boring and it's funner to dramatize things, haha.
Geez, that's a lot of requests!
Well, an additional problem with this Lenovo ThinkPad is that its "A" key is coming loose if not pressed on the rightmost side. I've also dropped it 3x from over a foot's distance (knocked off a table, etc.), which damaged its Bluetooth receiver. So I'm wondering if it's even still worth maintaining...
It's definitely got 2×256 GB SSDs in it, though they're also all from 2016-17, hence my predicament of sorts...
Thankfully, 2FA means this doesn't really matter, although revealed PWs should be changed eventually.
What Linux distros did you try, though? Some are explicitly less user-friendly than others. Also, how about Llama?
I can only think of Element/Matrix because Revolt doesn't have screen-sharing, which is a huge factor in my group's get-togethers.
