As a long time car nut, this is like blasphemy. You basically destroy everything about the car that made it what it was by doing this. It’d be like putting a 4 cylinder engine in an RX-7 - sure it looks the same, but it’s not an RX-7 at that point.
The article is based off a false premise right from the get go, and their first line even points this out.
Microsoft has reportedly begun canceling most of its direct Claude Code licenses, according to The Verge, instead moving engineers toward using GitHub Copilot CLI.
This is just common sense. Why pay for Claude licenses when Claude’s models are in GitHub copilot, which they own and is integrated directly into their dev programs? It’s not scaling back AI.
And while the cost of ai compute can get very costly very quick, having talented developers using the AI tools enables them to get through mountains more work than they could without it, so it’s really paying for higher “productivity”/throughput.
That’s the same deal as Plex - people bought it as a thank you to developers as it basically gave you very little extra at the time.
Realistically, my ~$50 plex lifetime pass has been the best value purchase I’ve ever made in terms of hours of use to dollars spent. Tens if not hundreds of thousands of hours have been put on it.
Why? That investment is paying off as it’s now significantly higher priced and has more features behind it.
Jellyfin is not as good as Plex. The client is worse, the streaming options are worse, and the remote streaming and sharing is insecure and costs extra to do even remotely, pun intended, securely.
No because you can’t easily and securely share your library and remote play.
I have a lifetime pass so there’s no need to switch to a worse product.
The characters getting a “good ending” is irrelevant if it’s complete crap all the way there. It’s about the journey and the payoff because they’re not real people. They don’t go off to live after the show.
Because it was terrible. It felt rushed yet was full of filler episodes and storylines, and pretty much every storyline from the last 4 seasons went nowhere and was irrelevant. It threw Gen V in the trash and basically pretended it didn’t happen.
The entire season just seemed to be “let’s make fun of trump and Christian’s and republicans, it will be amazing and everyone will love it! Oh and we’ll throw Elon in at the end too! We are so hilarious!” and in doing so just did a game of thrones - completely destroyed the whole show.
The final battle was just complete horse shit. An invulnerable “god” who they’ve been fearing will destroy the whole world gets his arse have to him by butcher and a kid? He can’t even fly away fast enough to escape? What was even the point of the V1?!
Not to mention the false advertising with pictures of homelander in low orbit with nukes going off everywhere, and butcher standing in front of a collapsed Vought tower.
The starlighters? Eh forget about them. Just make them help a few randoms across to Canada where homelander definitely couldn’t get them…..
Marie being the most powerfully supe and being made out to be the one to stop homelander? Forget that, she can just sit in a truck.
The deep can swim to the bottom of the deepest point on earth just fine, can swim insanely fast, but looks like a 5 year old trying to swim out away from the sharks? And an octopus can kill him?
Everything about it was just terrible. I won’t be watching the spinoffs.
Sony will shut them down in a few months. Marathon is a colossal failure, and shows just how out of touch and bad current Bungie is. They were supposed to be Sonys multiplayer/live service saviour, but have turned out to be the worst acquisition in the industry for decades.
Small and older indie games don’t need frame gen.
The steam machine is DOA. It’s less powerful than the base PS5 and series S. It doesn’t have DLSS because it’s AMD. It is woefully underpowered and is going to be expensive as hell for the lackluster performance to boot. Oh and it can’t play most of the most played MP games, or the upcoming GTA6.

Who will? Nvidia? No lol
They don’t have a game store, an OS, or make game consoles lol. Only the switch uses Nvidia.
