If you’ve got a steam deck then your best option by far is to just get a monitor or tv and hook the Steam Deck up to it. That’s the best option available to you, by far, while also being one of the cheapest.

I agree with the rest though - why wouldn't you just carry your phone? It has a bunch of useful features that you never know when you'll need. One of them is even to play music like OP wants!
Get an iPod.....or your phone and just don't use it for anything other than music.....
You can do it through some of the Lemmy apps, like you could on reddit with RES and some of the apps. Just puts a tag next to peoples name whenever you see them in the app.

A much easier way would be through legislation and forcing employers to pay fair wages.
Then you get into the other massive issues - define "fair". Who defines what is a fair wage? Is it just minimum wage enforcement? If you raise the minimum wage for servers then you have to raise it almost everywhere else, which will fuel massive inflation and job losses.
I don’t think customers would be inclined to tip someone making a fair wage.
But when you tip you have no idea what the servers wage is.
Also as someone else pointed out in here, some states tried to get rid of tipping by raising the minimum wage of these servers and they complained so much the government abandoned it.
Because womens sport divisions and leagues were specifically created because women physically cannot compete at the same level as men. Biologically they're built differently - they're not as strong, as fast, as tall, etc.
What you're saying is "why even have womens divisions at all?". If that's what you want then fair enough, but just know that it basically eliminates female athletes altogether apart from a few select sports like gymnastics.
No one is calling to BAN trans people from sport - just to have them compete with others of their SEX, not their self identified "gender identity". That's not a "hate crime", that's just fairness in sport.
