We can’t fix the underlying issue while we continue to make it exponentially worse though. Immigration didn’t cause the issue, but immigration is the main reason why it currently keeps getting worse and worse and worse.

Stop the flood of immigration, get things under control with the population we have, fix the underlying problems, then open up immigration again at a rate that is sustainable (and constantly re-evaluate this rate with regard to things like homelessness, per capita gdp, housing availability, etc).

I hope one day you’ll have a rare moment of self reflection where you’ll realise that you were part of the problem and reason why everyone turns against your ideologies because of your constant cries of “dats wacist!” at things that aren’t even remotely racist just because you want to virtue signal so hard.

Immigration is great. Black people, white people, brown people, yellow people, green people - who cares. What isn’t great is when our country can’t properly accomodate the people already here, but instead of turning the immigration tap down in order to let everything catch up and improve for everyone already here - including immigrants - we increase the immigration which objectively and 100% factually without doubt compounds the problems. You don’t fix increasing homelessness by bringing in more people. You don’t fix housing affordability and availability by putting more potential buyers and renters in the market.

You trying to paint people wanting homelessness, housing affordability, poverty, and cost of living, among other things, to get under control before we subject more people to it and make it even worse as “racism” just shows that you just want to virtue signal and be offended. It makes other people start to question your intelligence and opinion.

Nah, they know their limits. They will keep trying to make an optional locked down OS for regular users a thing, but there will always be a fully “unlocked” version available due to legacy software and the entire worlds reliance on it.

As you get less time you quickly learn to stop inviting people like that, as it’s not worth your time chasing them. If they want to see you they will reach out and make the effort. If they don’t then you have your answer.

Yeah it’s completely normal, especially because most people this age have multiple kids that take up most of their free time. People move, change jobs, die, etc and also just don’t have the time to maintain many friendships. It’s normal.

According to most studies the majority of adults have between 1-4 close friends. If you don’t make friends with workmates, even if they’re just “workday friends”, you’ve basically got a few hours on Saturday and Sunday to develop and maintain friendships, and it’s hard when everyone has commitments.

You have work colleagues? Have you tried making friends with any of them?

Have you tried doing anything to make friends in any capacity? Friends don’t just drop in your lap while you sit at home.

Also when you say your family and friends all disowned you, was there perhaps also an element of you disowning them over ideological disagreements even if some of them still wanted to remain friends?

Yeah and it’s been proper fucked for months. I set up anew server on my Mac mini M4 months ago and every now and then I spin up lidarr again to see if it is fixed and nope, won’t recognise a single album in my entire collection and can’t even manually add an artist.

Headphones is pretty terrible and slow, but it has the benefit of working.

If you use Plex it’s an absolute cinch to host your own music. Even if you don’t use Plex already it takes 5 mins to setup and you’re streaming your music to your hearts content.

The other “issue” isn’t an issue at all. Plex handles all that stuff just fine and super easily.

Microsoft are smart enough to not piss off every giant corporation and destroy their entire business overnight, so you can count on it never being forced by them.
