There are plenty of troops that just repair cars. Maybe those cars get used for murder, maybe they don't. It's a complex moral problem that is different for everyone at different levels.

By saying fuck the troops, you are falling into the trap the owners want. You are focusing on pawns rather than the kings they want to be.

Choice 1 be dirt poor or join the military

Choice 2 obey orders or get thrown in military jail

I suspect most adults have some coping mechanisms built up so its often harder to separate out the basic problems. Children offer a 'cleaner' study, so that is what they focus on.

I have to say my 6 year old has a lot of symptoms. I started giving her melatonin to help her sleep and a lot of the behavioral issues have gotten a lot better.

I'm not trying to say its a cure all, but I was surprised how well it helps her sleep, and how many (I thought) unrelated issues have improved.

I see a lot of (often well deserved) shit talk about centrists/middle ground. Honestly, it IS silly to talk about middle ground between reason and raw hate. I do, however, doubt myself if I look around and find myself spouting the most extreme ideas on a given topic. How isnt that scary to people? I dont want to be the fanatic. I was raised with talk about the middle path and the golden mean. Virtue in courage is found between recklessness and cowardice. I still subscribe to that notion, but absolutely recognize how one can lull themselves into false means based on the prevailing culture (Overton window). Still, I dont see how it is that hard to have some bedrock principals, and use those to anchor a true middle ground.

Its fair to call Harris out on her support of Israel. It is bullshit to say she is why we have Trump. We are why we have Trump.

He is a moron to be sure, but crashes like this make opportunities for those with means to gobble up the big stuff cheap. Sure ground beef is expensive as fuck right now but I bet the wagu steak hasn't changed nearly as much. Hell when the economy is going well the rabble want a taste of the good stuff. Better to keep them in their place.
