Well, if you don't need programmers to work in place place at the corporate headquarters, you can hire them anywhere.

My guess is that Japan and East Asia are treating this a lot different compared to Europe and North America.

For East Asian allies, the USA is pivoting from the full world to focus more on the Pacific Ocean, so a post Trump USA would still be involved in the region. Also, unlike Europe, East Asian allied countries can't outspend their strategic rival by themselves.

So, they'll spend a little to keep Trump happy in order to keep the USA involved in East Asia while they wait out Trump.

A lot of investors are coming out of the woodwork, either with timid public comments or via reporters. Kramer is likely being used as a mouthpiece for these comments.

They probably thought Trump was going to given like his first term, not really doing anything except pushing tax cuts and gutting regulators. That the S&P500 is down over 12% from last month can cause major issues for some investors. Not every investor is Warren Buffett.

Android is open source except for Google Play Services. Other major companies attempted to gain market share in Android but couldn't because of the power of Google's monopoly.

I don't see how a consortium fixes this.

Why the fuck would they delete the content?

The studio owns the content outright, so streaming rights costs should be nothing.

TL;DR, a majority of migrants are coming from Venezuela, most of whom don't go north. Colombia is absorbing many of those immigrants the best they can as is other South American countries. Peru and Chile are starting to limit immigration, Brazil and Colombia are still relatively open and welcoming.

Depends on how big the fire is.

I feel like part of the problem is that management wants staff that can do a wide range of tasks when it ends up creating a staff that can't specialize in a small group of tasks.

I've seen plenty of times where people can operate well as a cog on a big machine, but fall apart when they have to work in roles that require a variety of skillsets. Larger engineering companies can typically create enough work for people to specialize in smaller tasks than smaller engineering companies.
