After reading the title I was going to say it depends on how interesting it was but after reading the body it depends on a combination of how much time I have and how bored I am.

Im not sure how much I miss it as I to am a recovering comic book collector. If you have anything from the powerline series (powerline, doctor zero, saint george, or critical mass) from way back and are near chicago and care to exchange let me know.

Ok I wrote a response but I was never into dancing but they had free swing stuff that I would go to occasionally. Never got that good but it was a fun thing to do once in awhile. I also have been in various choruses and choirs and they are really fun but also really sorta exhausting. Anyway your response made me add two things to my list.

I lost books sometime in the aughts. I miss them but its just to easy to do other things. MMO's are another. That is sorta the reverse in that they suck up to much time and there are personal reasons I needed to drop them. Going to cons also fell out about the same time as reading and its fun to hang with fen folk. Ill say along with cons just any in person nerd thing. free thought groups, makerspaces. they are all sorta part of the same thing I think which is essentially just hanging with nerds and geeks.

thats one good thing about high property taxes including the land value tax idea. Makes it harder to sit on real estate because of the recurring costs.

None really. I only use them as a way to stay in contact with people who I won't see regularly. That aspect is nice as all lives change and diverge but the whole corpo crap makes it meh.

Explain to her that not everyone gives gifts in the truest sense and some view it as transactional. This means they will view you as owing a debt equivalent to the gift. Not everyone is like this but it is a danger and some will decide at some point to force payment on the debt.

Everyone who buys is not longer a renter. So for every rental lost you lose a renter. I don't see why it would effect it at all.

would make sense. subprime was four times and big as dot com and ai is for times as big as subprime about giving 16xish the size of dotcom.

honestly I never liked smartphones. it was mostly about the freebsd based os, large with lots of power and ports (this was the aughts), and the apple care was amazing. Once that went away it just made sense to save money but now its like they could be the cheap option and like no. ewww. linux was not as great at that point to.
