Its normal to feel a mix of emotions in all sorts of scenarios. My mother when looked at one way was incredibly competent and impressive but also aweful and petty. There is an ethical framework called the ethics of least harm but to take it one step further its best to strive for least harm and maximum benefit. Why this is needed is because all of us are to some degree good and bad and we can work to minimize the bad we do and maximize the good. The situation of life makes being zero bad or 100% good likely impossible.

Im not a big fan of law enforcement but boy am I sick of societies obsession with pants. Can't go anywhere without a pants nazi saying put some pants on and im like. no you. and they are like im wearing pants. and im all like well good for you then.
Great for me but I don't use any of those. Like two of those I attribute to smartphone users. I can't think of anything I run on windows that I can't on linux.

I actually talked with my wife about the scenario and she did not want a big picture portrait of biden because of looks. We agreed we would do a double with obama and pritzker side by side and then smaller ones with biden, clinton, sanders, etc maybe underneath (not really but in our fantasy setup).

I know folks hate the us peanut gallery with this but this is exactly the type of things we were told made russia worse than the us and now people are arrested for playing innocuous songs in front of ice facilities. Heck even prayers by actual clergy results in being shot in the head.
