When did I blame shift and how was I wrong ?

[–] IloveyouMF@lemmy.world 0 points 34 minutes ago

You say that but you didn't even try answering the question in the title and seeing my response

I will start with a foreign policy one

"Saudi Arabia funds terrorist !"

Ugggg no they don't. Yes I am saying that and I ask you, what terrorist groups does Saudi Arabia support ? Can you name one ?

A gold digger would not give her boyfriend 25% of her monthly income.

what about people who lived through 200 years of occupation ?

If you will never forgive cheating ever that is fine that is your boundary I can not tell you what to do I am not arguing you have a moral obligation to forgive cheating.

However I argue that in your emotional and material best interest you should keep dialog open and see what they offer and try to make it work

specially for men but even women too.

like with how much more men statistically benefit from relationships and how hard dating is for younger men I just don’t buy they would break off a relationship with a woman who cheated on them. Especially if she gave them a good deal because not only is fending a girlfriend harder but women just won’t put up with mediocrity anymore we only date if we are interested we have our own money (young women out earn young men), our emotional support structure is better and the orgasm gap is real most men don’t measure up.

So would you seriously rather be single then settle ? Every man says this but looking at the data it seems none of them mean it.

yikes first off white genocide is a myth

second indigenous people fighting for their land back is not white genocide.

[–] IloveyouMF@lemmy.world 0 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

I do agree this is a more complicated question then many think

For example I don't see any indigenous rights activist advocating for land back in turkey and for the turks to give it back to the Greeks

You don't see anyone advocating arabs give Egypt back to the copts.

So this is a topic being talked about more in the wake of Palestine, but even the recent protest in LA. People wonder why they waved Mexican flags because that land used to be Mexico and they want to return to it.

I think we will see this turn into a liberation struggle.

BIPOC resistance has been growing a ton in America with Native Americans expressing more interest in armed struggle to drive settlers from their land. Remember white people even being in America is against the UN charter and native Americans have the right to demand their land back

Even in Europe the Sami people are the rightful indigenous people of Europe and they to are struggling with the governments of Germany,Norway and Sweden over things like infrastructure intruding on their grazing land. So what do you support in terms of tactics and targets ? I will list some groups and their tactics and ask what you support.

This raises an honest and difficult question: what forms of resistance are morally or strategically supportable in these struggles? Different movements have taken different paths:

ANC (South Africa) Emphasized avoiding civilian harm, focused on sabotage of state infrastructure.

FLN (Algeria) Primarily attacked colonial structures and security forces, but some attacks affected civilians.

ZANU/ZAPU (Zimbabwe) More indiscriminate, targeting white settlers broadly.

Where do you personally draw the line when it comes to resistance in a settler colonial state like the U.S.? What tactics do you believe are justified, and against what kinds of targets symbolic, institutional, or broader?”

Twitch is owned by Amazon one of the biggest companies in human history they are not the underdog they could give more money if they wanted.

Twitch allows law breakers to stream

Extra Emily for example streamed herself running a red light which is a crime she wasn't banned. She was also streaming while driving against Twitch tos but again not banned

Hasan pike was recently standing in the road to block it that is against California law and is a dangerous illegal activity to Twitch tos yet he isn't banned.

That is the worst part

the kick people are loyal to Kick for reasons they like the revenue split or the fact it's either there or nothing

the twitch people are loyal to Twitch because it's Twitch

So recently there was a controversy with a bunch of live streamers leaving twitch or duel streaming to Kick.Com.

However people dislike Kick saying it is less ethical then Twitch so what is the deal with that ?

Ok I know the title is weirdly said but I will explain more here. I tried using reddit but all of the subs and topics I wanted to speak on were gated by Karma, so I searched reddit for no karma sub so I just posted on ask reddit, nostupid questions and I made one post on r/advice which I cross posted to relationship advice after which my account glitched. Turned out I had been shadow banned and I have no clue how. My theory is I posted to much and copy and pasting a post tripped the alarm but the post was a bit different on relationship advice and I did it once, I saw reddit from like youtube videos and tiktok and people cross post to subs all the time why is that an issue ?

But to get to the main ponint of this, why is reddit run the way it is ? In the sense why do they ask so much of their users hurting both the user expirience and the site's ability to grow. The Karma system forces you into a position where to get to the content you want you have to interact with and post content you don't care about. So you have a ton of disengaged user's just punching their time card to get to what they actually care about. Imagine if other social media sites did this, imagine if you wanted to listen to sabrina carpenter on spotify but to do that you had to listen to 100 hours of Conway Twitty, what sense does that make ?

Reddit's karma and age gate systems resemble a mobile game and while annoying when it's done there you understand why it's designed to get you to pay to skip it, but reddit doesn't let you pay to skip it at east not directly.

Every other social media site wants to get users the content they want as easy as possible. TikTok is the best example the reason it's popular is because it's the best at getting you what you want with as little work required on your part as possible. The for you page fetches you videos your interested in, if your a creator the format of the app increases your chance of being seen and going viral.

Reddit on the other hand leaves so much of the user experience up to weather or not your post on ask reddt go gets upvotes or if you happen to know if a good sub with a karma limit since subs do not disclose their karma limit

Again for the last time, why ? Even from a selfish business standpoint this seemingly makes no sense so what am I missing
