I mean, one compromised account leading to a massive influx of spam is a legitimate concern.

I get that Lemmy is a bastion for M$ hate but FUD articles get annoying.
To be fair, one of those is much, much easier to remember. Honestly I don’t even know how to pronounce verisimilitude.
Hell, you can buy with cash. Walk to a local big box store and buy a steam wallet/gift card. That is assuming you live somewhere that has that option, of course.

Y2K wasn’t overhyped. It was just successfully planned for. This reeks of the paradox of IT. “Everything is broken, what do you even do” vs “nothing is broken, what do you even do?”
To be fair, icon theming was terrible in most previous betas too. I highly doubt they are focusing on that aspect pretty hard in the dev betas.
I mean, outlook has themes… but I generally hate their other recent UI changes.
