I haven't watched any of the latest season yet but I get the impression that the writers are going out on a "do what we always wanted to do" note like in Enterprise S4.

The hard question becomes is it better for Linux (where anyone can contribute labor) to get the attention and donations or for commercial software where only nonhuman corporations benefit.

Lets be real though, nobody comes close on the quality of Google Maps. Everyone needs to contribute to OSM.

It's crazy that Star Trek V was once considered the worst Star Trek film but is now universally considered among critics to be the greatest movie of all time.
