Hear me out for a wild idea: businesses could offer living wages, benefits, and work-love balance.
Not to mention spontaneous sentience. We're so smart we're dumber than dirt.
Pshaw! Who wouldn't want an expensive personal tracking and monitoring device?!
Taxing the extremely wealthy and corporations at 90%+ would go far.
And deport to forced labor colonies.
Climate could play a part, too.
This also means people wouldn't be able to travel with cheap burner phones, which is extremely problematic for people who need to travel to and from increasingly authoritarian states.
I largely agree, except s/equally/equitably.
A little bit of that and Heinz 57 in burgers is spectacular, though. It also helps makes a relative's overdone entree tolerable.
