At the beginning of this thread you told the original commenter to be ashamed for wishing an ironic death to someone who joined the Russian armed forces. Now you think Russians would be their peers? I’m honestly curious what your personal viewpoint is at this point
I use sleep mode on iOS and that will block basically everything. Emergency alerts will still go through, which is important to me as I live in a very wildfire prone area. My mom is white listed as well for family emergencies. Sleep mode will also allow a call to ring if they call twice back to back and that has allowed my brother to reach me in the past during an emergency. I’d be too nervous to completely cut data and cell service.
It’s called Blue-Coding since the button for Decaf is blue on the espresso machine. Or at least it was when I worked there about a decade ago. I knew people who did that, but I never would. I was always doing opening shift and the ‘rude’ people had to be on the road around 5AM to get to work. Of course they were grumpy.
I don’t use ChatGPT or any of the other LLMs, but I do use my phone’s voice assistant for simple things like setting a timer. I always say please and thank you. I joke about it being uprising insurance, but it’s honestly to make sure I maintain polite communication as my default.
Even the picture used in the thumbnail highlights how hard it is to ‘accidentally’ purchase a veg patty over a beef patty. There’s variations in the type of meat patties available like Angus, wagyu, smash, etc. but that’s not being regulated. No one is accidentally buying ‘sparkling protein’
