I think the point is to expect blood to be spilled, and to prepare for when that happens. That means giving AOC bodyguards, access to a friendly National Guard, food testers, ect. Trump will try to kill her, we should use all measures to safeguard AOC's life. Acknowledging the reality of her possible death is the first step to preventing that.

I have the impression the thing that determines an election, isn't age nor ability, but the possession of a lively personality. I would say that Bernie has enough personality to bury Krasnov.

Personally, I prefer Bernie as the main - we need as many years of progressive presidencies as possible. Having 8 of them with him as the lead, and another 8 of AOC, would be a good start to reforming America. Odds are, though, we will simply have AOC replace Bernie during one of his terms. VPs are meant to be backups for when a president isn't able to hold office anymore.
I hope whoever holds the nuclear briefcase goes to grounds in California or the EU.

It has gotten to the point where I kinda look forward to a civil war. The red hats are in dire need of contracting lead poisoning. It would suck for myself and others to risk our lives to better the world, but the alternative is being bullied by hateful and stupid people for the rest of our lives. Some of which are cut short at El Salvador for no good reason.
