I think China would buy Russian territory at rock bottom prices, or simply seize it. It would be far easier way to achieve glory and wealth than trying to take Taiwan.

Hard to say. Historically, the American Civil War and the whole thing(s) with the World Wars took at least several years to resolve, in extremely bloody fashion. HOWEVER: Competence isn't present at all within the Trump Regime. Nazi Germany had veteran soldiers and genuine anger from the mistreatment caused by the Versailles Treaty. The likes of the Trump Regime doesn't have any legitimate grievances to power a war, and is explicitly removing the best soldiers from their ranks for petty reasons.
The American Civil War, while not a foregone conclusion, had a lot of factors against the Confederacy: A lack of Southern infrastructure and logistics, limited trade partners, VERY angry and rightfully motivated black folks, lack of morality, and so forth. Aside from veteran generals, the Confederacy wasn't in a good position for victory. The Trump Regime is pretty much stacking almost every factor against itself.
That said, there are many wealthy people who would prefer a Dogey America, so we will probably see Elon funding and building Tesla CyberTanks or V3 Rockets. This is a common thread between the American Civil War and the Trump Regime, in that very wealthy interests have to gain from moral decay and slavery.
I am hopeful for a good outcome, but it will take the bodies and effort of people like myself, and the assistance of friendly nations, to defeat MAGA if we come to blows. If you are a foreigner, please support cooperative aid for the Free States - trade, troops, information, entertainment, moral support, all are good for the cause.
I sure hope so. If America has a civil war over evils like this, I don't want Dogey Americans to be able to flee and set down roots in other nations. Our elite are weeds, and they will strangle the life out of Europe and others if given the chance.

Unfortunately, my nation has been going down the toilet. If you haven't noticed, things like ICE's raid on Hyundai, the undeclared war and crimes upon Venuzela, over 1,800 people disappeared from Alligator Alcatraz, Mike Johnson refusing to open congress, the SNAP denial, and other bouts of malicious stupidity are very bad signs for the future.
In any case, I don't like China, but it is likely to be a superpower for awhile until India or someone else takes the crown. The crown was America's to lose, and I am pretty sure we are losing it.
Projection, probably. Reimplement SNAP, with the condition that EVERYBODY needs to purchase through SNAP and TrumpID with it. Then take away SNAP for democrats when Trump calls for it.

It is a matter of degree. While China has issues, America's is much worse across the board.
My money is on the American bubble popping. China would do just fine. As to Europe's? Probably not developed enough to seriously impact them, but probably able to fill America's void once the bubble action has died down. America is pretty fucked in general, so it isn't so much AI in particular, but rather a ghost economy.
Something based on imaginary stocks, grift, de-industrialization, ghost jobs and falsified labor statistics, likely mixed with a debased dollar, just doesn't bode well.

The problem with Taiwan for China is that it is a risky bet. Undoubtedly it would be proof of having the Mandate of Heaven if successfully taken, but also evidence of not being worthy if it results in failure. Biting off haunches of a weakened Russia is a much less risky proposition, with an good payoff.
