It's great that he's calling Israel out now. It's unfortunate that he was towing the Israel line up until now. He didn't shift because he sincerely is against indiscriminate killing, it's because public sentiment has.
They already know everything you have installed. They have an option to "disable" telemetry but who knows how reliable that is.

Feeling is analog and requires an actual nervous system which is dynamic. LLMs exist in a static state that is read from and processed algorithmically. It is only a simulacrum of life and feeling. It only has some of the needed characteristics. Where that boundary exists though is hard to determine I think. Admittedly we still don't have a full grasp of what consciousness even is. Maybe I'm talking out my ass but that is how I understand it.
They even say not to use it for financial calculations or high stakes scenarios. They can't provide an example of using it in any way that is useful for getting actual work done. It's a solution in search of a problem.
