Yes only deport the other illegals, not the ones I know and love.
No humans are illegal, it's sad how selfish people are these days

What's the worst thing is that the rhetoric they keep spouting is just verifiably false. They say stuff like "the left has been destroying this country for long enough" even though the last five or six cabinets have been dominated by the largest right-wing party.
It's a simple trick: take a general issue that is visible throughout the largest part of the population, pick a scapegoat, preferably one you can generalise, then promise a bunch of stuff you'll never be able to pull off without dismantling democracy.
Currently, the far right is just blaming all kinds of institutions that are supposed to protect our systems. Their plans are all short sighted bullshit that's so easily checked for its faults that's it's just easier to say it's being criticized for ideology rather than content. Anyone who would take a second look at what has happened for the last two years should be easily cured from their far right views but these voters don't take the time to actually look into the numbers and plans. Their attention span for politics doesn't stretch much farther than yelling about immigrants and taxes.
I am not optimistic about the results of today's election.
Could it be that web services are divided into regions
Hey I'm not advocating the usage of it, I'm just answering a question.
I think some of the communities are just good fun, I'm not judging any of the characters who visit the instance. But I agree that some of the communities and some of its patrons have a not so open minded view of the world and prefer to speak in a language of hate rather than a language of love. I stand against that. But I do stand against broad censorship in the grand scheme of things. I prefer a world when people can say anything they like as long as they take the time to look at issues from several angles that do not correspond with their own. Right wing, left wing, it doesn't really matter as long as we all take the time to really appreciate where someone else is coming from.
As long as their opinion is sufficiently substantiated.
And I do concur with you that hate speech towards any groups of people in general is not a part of that discord.
It's on free instance Hilarious Chaos. I think it's called Shitty ask lemmy
I've got a P400 desktop and it handles everything it should. The matrix of another commenter is an important document to keep handy.
Literally the only way they will learn. I really don't understand how we as a society have accepted ads as a necessary evil. We all hate them, but we all also make them work. It's horrible.
I guess Disney really didn't like losing that many subscribers
For some, this is not activism. It's not protesting. It's just about causing mayhem. They hate cops because they have a problem with authority in general.
You can lock them up, fine them, do whatever, it'll never have any effect. They will just get out of jail and set fire to another police car given the chance.
I'm not saying the protesters are right, but I will always defend peaceful discourse and all opinions, even the most vile, unfounded bile can have their stage. But they must then also be open to reason and proper discussion. There is no situation where setting fire to police vehicles (paid for with my taxes, by the way) is part of a civilised debate.
What's your mother's maiden name? What's the street you grew up on? First pet?
Pokémon Blue walking to Vermilion City I think, there is this really nice tune.
It shouldn't really be the purpose of Big Tech either. It's fairly difficult to define freedom if it takes the form of exploitation of human behavior for profit. Social media is little more than an addictive ad delivery system.
