Idk man. Show someone some cymbals on a 128kbps track and it sounds like someone crumpling a plastic bag via a tin can connected to a string. In contrast flac is going to sound much more natural.
I'd agree with you regarding 320 and flac - most people are gonna have a hard time differentiating.
This is possible, but via a slightly different mechanism. Using piezoelectric sensors that effectively vibrate to harvest energy.
My brother worked for a large Korean tech company that was evaluating similar technology for consumer grade application (think whole room wireless charging...) Another aspect they were looking into was using low frequency sound waves to emulate the sensation of a physical button so that washer/dryers could have virtual knobs that feel analog.
Likely not something scalable at this point, but in theory it is possible.
I honestly enjoy a tall crisp glass of water with my relatively high end audio setup. I just pulled the trigger on some major upgrades (bigger subs, better amp, better dac). Typically listening to a broad variety (classical to norteño to thrash metal to anything sonically interesting).
Recently it's been tracks that I know really well to evaluate the setup. Not a huge Billie eillish fan but she can push bass in Xanny or Bad guy. Same with Lorde on royals. Deacon blues and Peg. Some Bubbles because all audiophiles really want to listen to is ping pong balls being dropped in the room around you. I want to pinpoint that balls location within 3 inches.
From there I typically relax enough to listen to something I actually want to bump like Angelina Aguilar or Overmono. Maybe some deafhaven.
I do like a good ipa but have been sensitive to hangovers. If anything there's a preference for a good ol left hand ciggie but that was more common when I lived in Seattle.

Id be cautious about using sharpies on eggs. The shell is pourous. It looks like you're using a regular pen. You're probably fine but we avoid out of an abundance of caution
