O wise LLM, what authority are you accusing me of appealing to

Take a break from being a hypocrite and realize that if the truth isn't enough, I don't want it.

Ah the projection

Bro an appeal to authority requires an authority be appealed to, you capable of acknowledging that?

I know it's not the same company, but that sure is a far cry from:

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on Tuesday said that as much as 30% of the company’s code is now written by artificial intelligence.

Sounds like AI contracts aren't the only thing getting quietly scaled back.

It's the intersection of social media addiction and virtue signaling. I don't have a problem. You have a problem with my praxis.

It's almost like ~~industry mouthpieces~~ safety experts want us to believe AI is super capable, when the real danger is it's super incapable...

[–] XLE@piefed.social 1 points 2 months ago (13 children)

Is that your final answer on the "authority"? People? lol

[–] XLE@piefed.social 45 points 2 months ago (2 children)

AI "safety experts": AI is so powerful, it'll turn into Hackerbot and take down websites on its own!

AI in real life: so crappy that developers who trust it will break their own websites with the code it makes

Look up "shareholder primacy". It's enshrined in law.

BTW you said Midjourney is a profitable company elsewhere. Can you provide a source?

[–] XLE@piefed.social 1 points 2 months ago (15 children)

And you're broken as expected. You accused me of appeal to authority, that's the argument you chose to make.

O Truthful One: what authority

[–] XLE@piefed.social 1 points 2 months ago (17 children)

You accused me of an appeal to authority. Tell me the name of the authority.

We aren't switching topics until you actually finish your accusation (and we both know you're wrong and you can't), or I get a retraction and apology from you (also likely impossible).

I just want a tiny fraction of the truth you say you want.

What is the name of the authority you think I used?

Look at the examples in the link you posted.

Do I have to draw a picture for you, o smart one?
