A lot of them adopted Christianity and made their own version. Few are Catholic, mostly just Latin America it seems.

Christianity adopted and adapted a lot of local religions and traditions when it spread outside the Roman Empire, so really it's only fair that people adapt Christianity to their own cultures.

He has some. He has direct control over church matters, and a lot of people willingly follow the church. So if the church says "no red meat on Fridays", the people will do that.

Originally, they did fill a niche. If you have a big group of people, a hotel breaks the group up into rooms. Airbnb lets you have one place all to yourself.

Nowadays it's gone to shit with low quality spaces, hotels listing themselves on Airbnb, stuff like that. I hope there's a middle ground.
