$361 billion as of 2024. But that doesn't mean they need the US. They're still doing a lot of trade with the rest of the world. And this won't be stopping trade entirely, the US will still be importing a lot from China.

Even better: services. Tariff Facebook ads, Netflix subscriptions, Office 365, Amazon Prime. If the corporations want to pull the strings in government, hit them directly.

Why stop there? It can go past 100%. 120% would be a tariff of 1.2x the cost of the item.
