It was nearly 20 years ago that he was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution. Over 20 years ago that the investigation of that incident began.
The initial investigation found more than 30 girls between the ages of 14 and 17 with similar accounts of sexual abuse.
Its mind boggling to think that he ended up in a plea deal and only got a year and a half in prison. Anyone he ever came into contact with after that should have been immediately questioned.
For docker, use compose, and map it all to one spot with subdirectories, and also map the config for the service to a spot on your disk/nas.
I put them in one spot on my NAS under services, so it looks like:
/services/service_name/docker-compose.yml /services/service_name/config/
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I write everything in markdown, and sync to my personal repo (backed up locally and as part of an encrypted backup elsewhere), which also goes to my personal codeberg in a private repo.
Passwords are maintained in a dedicated keepass db, also backed up elsewhere in the same fashion.
Config files themselves are always stored on my NAS in a symlinked or mapped directory, but primarily mapped since its (almost) all containers. These also get backed up the same way.
So as long as I structure my NAS/mapping the same way, everything else works the same way, no matter where its hosted. I do all my addressing by dhcp reservation so IP config is all in one place, and I have a local cert so everything is referenced by hostname.
Makes this all pretty easy to document imo, though the only one who will ever read it is me. I'm also in the middle of changing up auth, so I'll get to redo a good chunk of it, but I really only need to change configs.
... I'm lazy. I only like doing something once.

Good display has a round 1.65" color eink that includes:
Red, Bule, Green, Yellow, Black and White
Hopefully their product QA/QC is better than the marketing side.
The prices are low, with the 7.5" touch display with front light under $50, 10.3" under $150, and the 13.3" under $360. I say "under" because they show a sale price, but the price I note is the full according to the page.
$60 for the rest of the hardware according to free-ink makes these all good options pricewise, plus the cost of a proper case. I'd probably do one out of wood personally, I feel like that would be both fun and look really good.
Overall a cool project, I'm going to have to check it out some more later.

Previously I used it as a home assistant panel, but everything is so automated no one ever touched it (except the kids, annoying the ever loving crap out of mom).
Now its magicmirror as a calendar display
