appreciate it thanks. I'm familiar with camera gimbals and such as a steadying tool, but didn't connect that topic with whatever this is.

Oh that I didn't get from skimming Wikipedia. Because of a loss of freedom/control or am mistaking the concept?

I didn't understand the timing of why these discs align so it's not accurate in the animation but it seemed cyclical/mechanical/mathematic, like a pulse towards various different directions

Ah gimbal lock is the alignment phase? Thanks for the clarification

Yeah pop culture has definitely pulled inspiration from the same source.

Replied to your other comment. Thanks interesting

Yes that is actually similar. What would more discs than 3 spatial axii mean in this case? The blender object has something like 7 but I'm not sure if it's the correct number. More than x, y and z axii definitely tho.

What could lock into the middle is another question. The sense of scale of it feels huge, like anything between a space station and a planet

Desk toys try to simulate orbits around a thing but that movie effect does eerily have similarities. Not the most important details but behavior. Another one to add to the list ig

I recall some parts of it maybe from clips. I guess this thing is similar to the effect she enters or something? I remember it being closer to the sphere thing at the end of Annihilation.

Gotta check it out soon

Ask the "universe" or whatever your philosophy is on what meditation connects to. The thing people tell us to listen to with "intuition"

The irrational emotion would interest me so much I'd explore it further but you do you.

Very interesting experience thanks for sharing.

I kinda get what you're going for

My imagination with aphantasia is non visual contexts. Meditation, kinda like passive "imagination"/intuition/receiving from the source can modify that if you're doing like a guided thing or add intent ("golden light/purple aura" stuff)

This entity/object is a different kind. Clear, less of a projected image and more like a this is how it is if you'd be there.

For another commenter I mentioned like remembering where you put your keys
