Interesting. And yes, I agree there are games coming out with great mechanics .... but also games coming out with exploitative mechanics.

In this case, at least the lazy slop would be free. We already get lazy slop that is dull and uninteresting from game studios that expect us to pay for it.

I had a long convo with my buddy yesterday about something like this... he mentioned a Mario character playing in Elden Ring. So, I believe people are excited for a new gaming era... one of any possibilities. IMO, the gaming community has ensured some really cruddy game mechanics thrust upon everyone... maybe this will help mitigate those hostile decisions?
