I genuenly cannot give a fuck about the sex life of a Trump

I would instantly be assassinated for helping out people too much and handing too much power to workers syndicates

Well yes many arm PCs do work, im just saying eventually they will be locked down

I would say if/when PCs move over to ARM than we very well may see the same issues mobile devices have. There is a severe lack of Linux compatibility due to proprietary drivers, sometimes no drivers at all, no software support, and no device trees.

My experience is a Framework 16 I dont personally own, however I do have a T440p and build quality simply seems superior. I vastly prefer a durable and hard plastic above a thin mental sheet that bends.

Framework is more repairable but Thinkpads simply have superior build quality with less issues.

There are a few key issues with mobile Linux:

  1. UIs that have simply not gotten any attention
  2. A severe lack of decent hardware
  3. Scaled down desktop apps on a phone (seriously who thought this was a good idea)
  4. No security whatsoever
  5. Basic features missing or requiring a significant degree of tinkering to get working such as audio or calling
