I like to say that reading lemmygrad over the years has opened my eyes to a lot of my previous misinterpretatuons of "tankies", however I am more thinking it was these people that made me reconsider siding with them.
Not that this random tweeter is peak anarchos, but I've had some strange arguments with them over the years.

My high school history class stopped the tankman video right before the tank tried to move out of the way and said "this is the only footage to escape the oppressive regime. We don't know what happened to tank man but we assume he was run over"
