The child in me kind of wishes he had passed on 4/20 Easter, but alas.

That being said, while I'm not religious I appreciate a lot (not all) of what this Pope has done. His Apostolic Exhortation on the Idolatry of Money, and the gross inequality wrought by capitalism is worth a read.

I think about just how many shitty fathers these kids have, most of them in the maga cult that are lapping up the likes of Carlson and Peterson's lessons on red pilled bullshit and condoning the behavior of their kids (albeit from a notably absent distance).

It just seems too obvious to me that this is the intentional sabotage by the Trump administration on behalf of at least Russia. None of this makes sense whatsoever. Not even if you're a stock market businessman who doesn't care about allies.

It literally only makes sense in the purview of relative strength gain of Russia; maybe China too.

Putin's bidding to fracture the deepest alliances of the West under utterly bullshit pretenses.

Hahaha ladies and gentlemen, bystander audience... There it is. My case in point.

Checkmate.

I think it's a pretty high bar to say that 2 genocides > 1 genocide and Option 2 was more persuadable than Option 1.

But I'll be sure to relay to Ukrainians that you believe, by extension, that they're not noteworthy at all.

Well all I know is that now we're going full-throttle on not one but 2 genocides, including the one in Ukraine with even less of a chance to dissuade this administration than the previous on either so... Overall I'd call them, better.

Do you know why Biden had a complete falling out with Bibi and why Bibi was quite clearly going behind Biden and supporting Trump's reelection? Do you know why Biden and Harris had no good choices when it came to Israel/Palestine ahead of the election?

If you want to know why people elected Trump not once but twice, I'd start with the Citizen's United decision and the complete stranglehold right wing media has in controlling the national narrative in this country. That's a hint to the last question as well.

Anyone who abstained on grounds of Harris's position on Gaza in my view have blood on their hands in what will not only assuredly he worse for Palestinians under Trump, but also the ongoing attempted genocide in Ukraine by Putin.

They may as well be Trump voters to me and I want nothing to do with them.
