These make excellent backpacking breakfast

I agree. I read The Road recently since it's my wife's favorite book and holy shit it was exhausting at times. I enjoyed the story to a degree, but the stream-of-thought writing style and unspecific grammar took me out of it. If it had been written in a more understandable prose I think I would have enjoyed it more; but would it have been as famous then I wonder

Na that was exactly what I wanted, I appreciate the perspective. My son was a few months old when I read it and yeah, that definitely heightens the pain haha. I have yet to watch the movie but I'll have to check it out sometime. Thank you!

Can I ask what you thought of the ending? I read it recently and have conflicted feelings about it

Just curious, what about scp-ing to your server is less than ideal for you? I would think a static server with nginx or similar would be an easy one time setup and then you do a single command to scp to it whenever you want to add images. No redeploy necessary. I would almost consider that easier than other bespoke solutions that you would have to learn

I can't compare to fastmail since I haven't used it, but I've been very happy with proton mail.

I'm definitely in the "for almost everything" camp. It's less ambiguous especially when you consider the DD/MM vs MM/DD nonsense between US dates vs elsewhere. Pretty much the only time I don't use ISO-8601 is when I'm using non-numeric month names like when saying a date out loud.
