Clearly a labour of love π
Maybe support for some music streaming apps (subsonic?) would be cool?

Looks like I have a new favourite example to use in debates with nuclear power shills here on Lemmy π
Yeah, those are very convenient and much easier than having to deal with Kubernetes or such.
https://movim.eu/ works well for that and can also be used as a WhatsApp replacement (xmpp based). Obviously also made in the EU.
What a terrible article π€¦
Like there is literally a social network build in Europe with millions of users (Mastodon and friends), and the article doesn't even mention it and rather shills for a marginally more popular (mainly in the US and Brazil) one that is made in the US and isn't very decentralized either.
That is fail on so many levels...
Ejabberd has more enterprise features and scales better for large public servers, Prosody has more interesting community modules and generally is ideal for smaller private servers (but has a very nice invite system).
That is... surprisingly high? Anyone local can explain?
From a fuel efficiency point of view, trains are still way more efficient, and a dense coverage of airports is also extremely expensive to maintain.
But it is also a bit unfair to compare prices of low cost airlines that use subsidized airports and tax exempted fuel to mostly state owned rail companies. A fairer comparison would be Lufthansa prices or vise versa Flixtrain.
I agree that if you travel with a lot of luggage the sleeper trains can be a bit cramped and there should be probably some sort of check in luggage for long distance trips.
Otherwise the compartments seem fine? I definitly prefer them over some cheap and noisy hotel right at the train station.
Yeah, no shit⦠Just go to your nearest station 5 minutes before departure instead of wasting hours in security checks and at gates sounds terrific.
I just wish some rail companies (DB π€‘) wouldn't fuck this up with pricing structures copied from air travel that make tickets bought on the day of travel usually prohibitively expensive.
I think you can't connect new devices or so and the development has stalled. But I don't use Signal personally, so not 100% sure. AFAIK the Matrix bridge is currently being rewritten with another backend.
You can also mount WebDAV folders like that.
