This video dropped into my feed and I listened to it doing some chores. Halfway through, it reminded me of a post about alienation and how a communist society would handle it from a few days back, don't remember if it was here or on Reddit.

The theory of Alienation is usually accompanied by images of factories with the assembly line look and for good reason, they're seemingly the first clear instance of processes being split into tasks so far removed from the whole thing that a labourer can easily forget their contribution is indeed part of a whole, let alone imagine themselves doing the whole thing and thereby attribute the final product to their own labour. So called white collar work into the exact same issue, as the video well demonstrates. A supposedly creative work starts with an all clear from done executive with fuck all to do with the actual production, leading to a process cut into so many little parts that no single person nor team can take credit for a very minor addition to a massive whole.

Specialisation is a pretty cornerstone part of developing civilization, and I'm deleting the entire paragraph I've written going into that. But a lot of these jobs aren't orthogonal masteries, in fact many could be done with relative ease by other ones performing adjacent work. Looking at the state of the industry, this can't be particularly efficient either, if nothing else because people aren't functions to be tailored for singular tasks. We're left with an inconsistency anyone equipped with more than a few liberal truisms can see through.

The sad part is, liberals can see through this sort of thing, but they just can't apply a wider perspective. They reach answers like "it's to steal devs' credit" and find it satisfactory. They don't stop to ask why a system, an entire industry would function in a manner contradictory to their stated goals.

Caracas, December 10, 2025 (Mincomunas Press).- During the Popular Government session held this Monday, December 8, from the National Self-Government Hall, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, presented the seven strategic guidelines that will guide Communal action in 2026, reaffirming the course towards a model of direct participation, more efficient planning and territorial strengthening.

During his address, the President formally announced the implementation of the Communal Government for the Transition to Socialism, a structure that integrates the country's Self-Government Councils: “From today forward, the Communal Government for the Transition to Socialism is declared, encompassing the 5,336 Self-Government Councils, the 5,336 territorial governments comprised of neighbors, families, communities—concrete forces that debate, participate, act, build, and shape their territories.”

According to the President, this mechanism must operate daily and in a coordinated manner across all areas of public policy, in order to address social needs with values ​​and principles inherent to the Bolivarian project.

1. Expanding Popular Participation

The first initiative announced by the President focuses on expanding participation in National Popular Consultations as a mechanism to deepen full democracy. The objective is to strengthen collective decision-making and consolidate public works plans through direct democracy processes. This approach will allow communal territories to participate in a real and systematic way in the planning of their own environment.

2. Strengthening the Communal Planning System

As a second point, Maduro highlighted the need to strengthen the planning capacity of the country's Communes and Communal Circuits through the harmonious integration of the Concrete Action Agendas (CAA) and the Communal 1x10 program. He asserted that it is essential to "generate a reporting system that translates into a positive outcome and reorient the strategies of the Ministries based on these reports," meaning that national institutions must adjust their work plans according to the diagnoses and priorities emanating from the territories, increasing the effectiveness of the public response.

3. Building the Self-Government System

The third line of action is dedicated to strengthening the Self-Government system, a goal that, according to the president, is based on toparchy, a concept promoted by the educator Simón Rodríguez to foster innovative forms of social organization. “As Bolívar said: 'The Republic cannot be a copy or a mere imitation,'” the president quoted.

Maduro indicated that all communal bodies must be coordinated to allow communities to make decisions and govern their territories democratically, with the support of the different levels of government.

4. Communal Economy and Expansion of Local Banking

The fourth line of action focuses on strengthening the Communal Economy, an element considered key to advancing towards Bolivarian self-management. Maduro explained that this objective requires consolidating local financing instruments, such as Communal Banks.

As a concrete goal, he directed that each Commune have its own Communal Bank. To this end, he instructed Vice President Delcy Rodríguez to incorporate public and private banks into this objective, as well as to review existing financing funds to move, at least, towards the creation of 4,000 Communal Banks, since there are currently 1,758 in the country.

5. Active Presence of the Missions Network

In the fifth point, the president emphasized that the Network of Missions and Great Missions must have a permanent presence in the territories. The integration of these social policies with the Self-Government Halls and the Socialist Mission Bases seeks to guarantee that social action reaches the communities with the greatest needs directly and consistently.

6. Training and Strategic Communication

The sixth line is focused on training and communication within the structures of self-government. In this regard, the President emphasized that this effort must result in “the country's communicational strength to defend the truth, setting big goals so that there is a powerful training and communication team. It is a master plan to fight the battle in the best way possible.” ‎ ‎In addition, he instructed that coordination with the University of the Communes (UNACOM) be reinforced to strengthen technical, political, and communication training throughout the territory.

7. Territorial security and defense

Finally, the seventh line prioritizes territorial security and defense. Maduro indicated that during the first quarter of 2026, at least one Peace Quadrant must be consolidated for each Commune and Communal Circuit.
