Sure it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. But as an Asian living in the west myself it's just weird to me that so many of these Asian women in the west are so self hating that they rather be in a relationship with a racist piece of shit as long as he's white than be with a normal stand up guy who is non-white and they especially don't want to be with anyone who is of their own ethnicity.
People broadly don't think social issues are going to effect them personally and are real good at making excuses for stability and comfort. It's not that American Asian women are broadly "self hating" in fact it's usually the exact opposite, they are very strong, prideful people which is where the meme comes from making fun of incels for thinking asian women are submissive.
I don't know what brings a couple like this together, I'm sure it's complicated, but I have strong feeling that she's filipina, and if I know anything it's that she is haaaaating this media attention and social shaming, and as a result is making this dude's life hell. It's not nearly enough but I do delight in the fact that they're both suffering together on this front.
