Holy shit, he's still alive. With how hard they were fighting to keep people from seeing him, I assumed he was dead.

I'm glad he's alive, but I'm worried — nay, I'm certain — the majority will see this and think things aren't as bad as they really are.

I hate to say it, but if he were already dead, it would solidify the immediate danger of fascism in the minds of the majority (of non-fascists. Anyone who still supports Trump is mentally ill, in an alternate reality, and irredeemable).

I've said it from the start. The worst case scenario is not that this is a fascist dictatorship; of that I am certain. It's that they're competent enough (or the population, braindead enough) that they move slowly and not trigger a revolution until it's truly too late, and their violent repression works in silencing the people (see Tiananmen Square, Putin's Russia, etc).
