The American Prospect reported that several Democrats in closely contested districts would be voting for the ICE appropriation. “They’re terrified of being labeled anti–law enforcement,” an unnamed source told the liberal magazine. “They want this to go away so they can talk about the cost of living more. Problem is, it’s not going away.”

The vote was 220 to 207, with 7 Democrats voting for it. If they voted against it would have been 213-214.

Soooo, yeah, it fucking mattered.

Ugh...

From another article: https://time.com/7357264/ice-funding-bill-dhs-congress/

Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, the top Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee, echoed that argument, warning that denying funding altogether could worsen the situation by handing Trump greater discretion through a stopgap funding law. “The hard truth,” she said, “is that Democrats must win political power to enact the kind of accountability we need.”

Democrat politicians always think they need to win before they inspire, forgetting that they need to inspire before they win. It's so so dumb. Take a stand for your voters and for what's right, you idiots.

I know most voted against it. I blame these seven, and Jefferies. What a disappointment he's been.

Only 7? You would've thought all of them voted for it based on the generalizations from this sub. This will certainly convince centrists to take your point of view.

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say. Your beef is unclear and your argument muddled.

You guys are not good listeners, and not persuasive.
