Ana Tiburcio won Pennsylvania House District 22 in Lehigh County, defeating Republican Robert E. Smith Jr. in a race that the party had to hold at all costs. Across the state, Jennifer Mazzocco claimed District 42 in Allegheny County, beating Republican Joseph Leckenby in the South Hills area near Pittsburgh. Both races were called on Tuesday night, and both winners wasted no time celebrating what felt like more than just a local political victory.

Still better than the alternative.

I think the point I'm trying to make is: there were two outcomes for this event. The better one happened. Enjoy that fact.

Sure. Being useless is better than being malicious but democrat leader's unwillingness to do anything to stop this shit is complicity. They aren't doing nothing though, they're siphoning people's outrage and energy into a void of complacency. They're a lightning rod for investment that could be going toward doing something about what's happening.
