If they love the troops, they might not send them on a needless war of aggression.

But that's exactly why they love them.... they can send them to die in pointless wars around the globe so capitalism can thrive, pedophiles can go unpunished, and you and I can be brought to heel...

Even as a child, I was confused by "Support Our Troops" because if you want to support them, why are you sending them to die on the other side of the planet? If you want to support them, why are so many veterans being denied Healthcare?

My dad is a veteran with service related hearing loss, and getting anything from the VA is like trying to grab the sun. I've heard so many stories from vets trying to get their various injuries just looked at.

"support our troops" was always just a canned line to make idiots feel good about sending others to die for the rich.
