They raised their prices on the switch 1 and priced the switch 2 based on the threatened tariffs before they were enacted. I think some of the switch 2's game pricing might also have been affected by tariffs but don't quote me on that.

No, the Switch 2 did not include tariffs in its initial price unless the price went up in America after launch.

That's not what I said. What I said is that the price of the switch 2 was influenced by tariff talks before tariffs were enacted.
