I'm addition to the cost, I'm surprised that they don't have an upgrade kit for the Core One L (at least, it doesn't look like this one works with it), or that you can't buy it as part of the base printer.

They address that in the FAQ at the bottom. It’s coming, the smaller one was just ready 1st (or they tried to split the traffic spike to the site too possibly). image pasted from the FAQ that says in bold text as a question: “Does the INDX work with CORE One L?” Then answered in normal weight text with “The dedicated kit for the CORE One L is coming at a later point. The CORE One+ version is not compatible with the L.”
