The president is committing war crimes and the FBI is charging the former FBI director over an insta post from a year ago, clearly suggesting impeachment.

From the headline, I was imagining that he had used broken seashells to physically threaten Trump.

So the DOJ is hoping that nobody on the jury knows that 86 means to give someone the bum's rush, not to kill them.

Even then, if it were a threat, which it isn't, it's in no way actionable.

This will never reach the jury. There won't even be a Day 2. The judge will toss this immediately.

This time, yes. But eventually, they're going to get a MAGA judge, and someone will go to political prison. That will set a precedent.

unless he comes out and says what it means, it's subjective art that is up to interpretation.

true but even if you say “i think x should die” you’re still within your rights. none of “thinking” is actionable.
