Genocide isn't what I'm after. What I'm after is recognizing that Israel/Palestine is one issue among a million issues at stake, some of which are progressing and some aren't. Absolutism doesn't work in real world politics, incrementalism does.
Does it? Because we've got less rights while the incrementalists were fucking about doing nothing and trying to get everyone to go along with the idea that progress means doing nothing while republicans slowly erode and then quickly demolish everything more ambitious generations have worked for.
Yes it does. Losing ground in the current situation doesn't equal "doing nothing". All I can say is that real-world progress takes time and involves setbacks, and sometimes dealing with devils.
Selling weapons for genocide didn't require decades of calling doing nothing "progress." Democrats wanted to do it so they just did.
Paradoxically, people who wouldn't play games at low res don't mind seeing politics that way. I can't help you there.
As long as I don't accept genocide like you have done, you will act like I'm stupid for having any standards at all.
Centrists hate the idea of standards. It stops people from accepting regression as progress.
