A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.

5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.

6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Absolutism doesn’t work in real world politics, incrementalism does.

Does it? Because we've got less rights while the incrementalists were fucking about doing nothing and trying to get everyone to go along with the idea that progress means doing nothing while republicans slowly erode and then quickly demolish everything more ambitious generations have worked for.

Yes it does. Losing ground in the current situation doesn't equal "doing nothing". All I can say is that real-world progress takes time and involves setbacks, and sometimes dealing with devils.

Selling weapons for genocide didn't require decades of calling doing nothing "progress." Democrats wanted to do it so they just did.

Paradoxically, people who wouldn't play games at low res don't mind seeing politics that way. I can't help you there.

Centrists hate the idea of standards. It stops people from accepting regression as progress.
