I love my #DeltaChat , and yes, DeltaChat has groups and channels that exist only on the phones of their members. The only drawback might be that, since the channels and groups are only on the phones (and not on a server), new members can't see posts made previously, and everything that was posted before is blank for them.

@jksalcedo Delta Chat is for privat communication and has E2EE... so reading old posts for new members of a group does not work because of missing keys -

It has nothing to do with the fact that posts are stored on Relayservers just for a period of time... otherwise this period could be extended for groups easily....

Right now there are no public groups possible with Delta Chat... They may be in the future... dev working on "super groups"
