Why would you make it harder than it is?
libre office and you got an open source Office suite
Libre office got me through college without having to pay for ms office.. which they still charged for even with a student discount.
That's legit, I mean I use Libre myself.
I guess I brought up old MS Office to point out that the world was not always like this, it used to be that sanity was mainstream.
