I'm not sure we could make a profitable, well-built DeLorean, even if a real automaker tried. Testla didn't do anyone any favors, but there are reasons they Deloreans failed to take the market by storm. Outside being unique/famous, they weren't easy to deal with on any front

Yeah, that's my point. The Cybertruck seems heavily inspired by the nostalgia of the Delorean and people forgetting the problems. It's easy to think that they were considered cool by watching Back to the Future, but they were considered junkers, and that's even how it's meant to be viewed by Doc using it.
