TBH, I thought we were past the point of caring about fucking snake emojis, controversial opinions on history, or whatever woke bullshit someone said in 2014.

People can't fucking eat, pay rent, cool their homes, or afford education in this country. Every DSA candidate needs to watch how Zohran responded to these stupid culture war questions and take notes. Affordability is how the DSA's win, not by indulging centrist bullshit or the mainstream media's baiting about old, stupid woke opinions.

If they ask her about Castro, her response should be: "I'm not concerned with history. I'm concerned with the fact that Republicans have made it impossible to live with a full-time job in Florida." Hong would have won if, instead of talking about her stupid Thanksgiving tweet or her half-white son, she'd have simply said: "My concern with my son is the fact that Republicans have made it so hard to afford groceries every week, and they want to spend our tax dollars on unwanted data centers. I'd like for people to be able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner to begin with."

Full stop. Every goddamn time. Stay on message about affordability.
