I hope I agree with you. You actually responded without immediately downvoting and I respect that.
I guess I've always had my own interpretation of what a social democrat is. Means of productions and all that shit is just an old, failed philosophy. I want the best of both worlds. Private companies can compete but we actually have strong government regulations to keep all the pieces of shit under control...with military backing. Like, if you're corrupt, you're considered a traitor. I know how much would need to be fleshed out but I'm just giving the general idea of what I think.
The only other thing besides the obvious stuff is that the obvious utilities are government controlled. Energy, internet, insurance, healthcare, housing, etc..
But if we go with standard textbook socialism that a dumbass failure like Castro implemented, this movement WILL fail whether or not if the DNC establishment candidates and Repubs made it easy or not.
