For Americans the difference is we won't be allowed to.import and register Mexican vehicles, even though many "American" autos are already made in Mexico.

If they start making vehicles that are competitive with the US auto industry they'll crack down on them. Especially trucks. The US has fucked with truck imports forever.

Jeff Bezos can suck a dick, but I'd love to be able to get one of these in Canada. Not a chance it would seem, and under the current rules, I won't even be able to import one.
