I've been unsuccessful in getting the FitGirl and DODI repacks of Dark Souls Remastered to run on my CachyOS laptop. I've tried Lutris, Heroic, Faugus, and Bottles and I've tried various combinations of runtimes ranging from Proton, Wine, UWU, etc, but the best I can get is the game runs for about 30 seconds, then freezes.

The thing is, it works fine on my partner's computer. She has an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 where as I have an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and the Lutris logs aren't very clear as to why the game is freezing. I've even installed the vulkan-intel drives.

EDIT: I downloaded The Witcher 3 as a standalone installer from my GoG library, proceeded to install it using the same method and it worked fine. None of my steam games have issues either, which includes mostly indies, but also Cyberpunk 2077. I got Black Myth Wukong to work using the same install method. I'm wondering if the Dark Souls Repack is just bad or too old for my hardware?

I ran ulimit -Hn and it was over 1 million, so I don't think that was it.
