- Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.
- Posts should be safe and enjoyable by the majority of community members, both here on lemmy.world and other instances.
- Any comic that would qualify as raunchy, lewd, or otherwise draw unwanted attention by nosy coworkers, spouses, or family members should be tagged as NSFW.
- Moderators have final say on what and what does not qualify as appropriate. Use common sense, and if need be, err on the side of caution.

- Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI. This is not the community for that sort of thing.

π½οΈ Credit Where Credit is Due
- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

- Post an image, gallery, or link to a specific comic hosted on another site; e.g., the author's website.
- Meta posts about the community should be tagged with [Meta] either at the beginning or the end of the post title.
- When linking to a comic hosted on another site, ensure the link is to the comic itself and not just to the website; e.g.,

Pedophilia really isn't bad, just as being gay or being hetero isn't bad. You can't control who you're attracted to.
What is bad is raping children.
I see what you're saying but you're not saying it well. You're distinguishing the difference between pedophilia the condition and pedophilia the act. That having the condition of being a pediphile is beyond a person's control, but that actions a person does from that condition is. A good example would be someone with rage issues. Being rageful just is while acting on that rage is wrong.
I get it, but you need to be more clear when discussing something so sensitive.
Wow, it's been YEARS since I've seen someone casually compare pedophilia to homosexuality.
I sorta get where you're coming from, but gay/straight people aren't by definition raping the people they're attracted to. But outside of the concept of pedophilia on paper (someone's brain wired wrong), pedophilia is bad, full stop.
I feel bad for those afflicted with it, and have sympathy for those who are able to not give in, but the disorder itself is bad. Just as sociopathy and psychopathy are bad, so is pedophilia.
At least we agree that raping kids is bad. Too bad we can't get republicans to agree as well.
Calm down, you're being a manipulative dick by bringing that up, because the person you're citing never used that comparison to hurt homosexuals.
It's clear that what they're getting at is not that gay people ale pedos, but rather - people are born with random traits and no one ever chose to be attracted to males, females, or kids in this case.
