Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed.

Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.

Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

no it's not.
let's be completely honest here. the US is in the news because we have an asshole for a president that outwardly wears his corruption. he doesn't have enough mental capacity to not say the bad thing out loud.
but make no mistake, almost all world leaders are inwardly pieces of shit. all this posturing will be forgotten the moment a mentally capable leader replaces that bag of shit.
I'm not saying this out of righteous smug indignation. I'm saying it because it happens all the time and it's the truth.
Disagree. International relationships take a lot of time and resources to create. Structures are being built now in order to circumvent the US, and those won’t just disappear when we elect a new president. Yeah maybe they’ll let us back at the table once Trump is gone, but we won’t be at the head of the table anymore. The rest of the world is figuring out how to function without the US right now. If they succeed, our participation will be irrelevant, which by definition diminishes most of our economic power.
completely agree, and that's why leaders are outwardly professing their disdain and only taking semi-permanant action against the US. they're essentially hedging their bets to see how damaging the current regime is without burning the bridges they spent decades building.

This is classic what-aboutism at it's finest. This discussion is not about "Trump bad. Everyone else good!"

No, it isn't. The headline talks about how Trump has soured the US's relationship with other countries.
It's possible to make that statement without outright saying "Trump bad!"
No, he's right. Trump is good optics for murderous white supremacists/bootlicking imperialist vassals in the US and abroad, but not for everyone else. Obama had record bombings, he was just charismatic, looked and talked non rapey and at least pretended to be moral (whilst continuing the imperialistic goals). Anyone distancing from Trump or calling him out is not necessarily doing it due to morality, it can just be convenient for their own power grabbing goals.
Trump is just handling the dismantling of America more than previous presidents, he certainly is the man for the job, and Americans are feeling a small percentage of the pain felt by everyone else inflicted by Burgerland (because, as other countries unite and grow and develop nukes and stuff, the Western elite has to pivot and feed on the local stock) whilst he's in power and they don't like it. But things haven't gotten crazier or more evil, the targets are just changing.
I guess you missed the point also.
