Hunh. So it tracks, then? Throwing the gates wide for the desperate plebs to run amok across the lands, chasing dreams of a better life —just softening up the resistance of those who came long before and effectively paving the way with their blood, sweat, and sundry lives.

The playbook hasn't changed in centuries.
